Back to news articlesMore than 600 indigent residents and 300 children of Sitio Apia and Sitio Paglitao have availed free medical conducted by WAWA JVCo last October 4 held in Barangay Calawis, Antipolo City, Rizal.
According to National Anti-Poverty Commission on its Community-based Monitoring System, Barangay Calawis is the smallest of the eight (8) barangays in Antipolo City and has been one of the barangays which scored low in basic needs like water and sanitation, health, education, employment and shelter.
In line with its mission in creating a sustainable impact and making lives better for the community of Barangay Calawis, WAWA JVCo, joint venture of Prime Metroline Infrastructure Holdings Corp. and San Lorenzo Ruiz Builders and Developers Group, Inc. organized its first outreach program and medical mission.
The activity was carried out by the WAWA JVCo Management and Employees in coordination with Barangay Calawis officials and doctors. Health workers and volunteers also assisted in servicing the recipients. A short opening ceremony was led by Prime Metroline Infrastructure Holdings Corporation management. Followed by services of medical consultations, laboratory tests and distribution of free medicines to the residents.
WAWA JVCo is a joint venture of Prime Metroline Infrastructure Holdings Corporation and San Lorenzo Ruiz Builders and Developers Group, Inc. for undertaking and developing the Wawa Bulk Water Supply Project. The said project will boost about thirty (30) percent of Metro Manila water supply.
WAWA JVCo is looking forward in conducting a series of corporate social responsibility to continuously create an impact to the communities they serve.
