Antipolo IP chieftains receive packs of essential food items in their Tribal Office at Barangay Calawis.

Rizal, Philippines – Over 2,000 households in communities of Rizal province received packs of essential food items in a two-day distribution by Prime Infra’s WawaJVCo Inc. in support of COVID-19 relief efforts.

Residents and barangay frontliners in Barangay San Rafael, Rodriguez, Barangay Pintong Bukawe, San Mateo, and Barangay Calawis, Antipolo received food packs containing rice, canned goods, noodles, instant coffee and milk.

The relief packs were distributed in coordination with the respective local government officials, and the provincial government of Rizal led by Governor Rebecca “Nini” Ynares.

WawaJVCo Inc., a joint venture between Prime Infra and the San Lorenzo Ruiz Builders and Developers Group, Inc., is developing the Wawa Bulk Water Supply Project in Rizal.

Once completed, the Wawa Bulk Water Supply Project will deliver over 518 million Liters per day that can provide water supply to over 500,000 households in the East Zone concession area, while also helping mitigate recurring flood issues in the lower areas of Rizal Province, Marikina City and Pasig City.
