The two day distribution effort saw the WawaJVCo employees give out a total of 2,470 Christmas gift packs containing spaghetti and fruit salad packages for each household plus an additional 100 kilos of mixed pork and chicken meat for Barangay Pintong Bukawe, which were happily received by residents and community leaders. Distribution was done in the communities of Sitio Casili, Inigan, Anipa and Sapa in Barangay San Rafael, Purok 7, Barangay Pintong Bukawe, Sitio Apia, Barangay Calawis, the San Mateo IPs, 11 tribes of the Montalban IP communities in Barangay Puray, Barangay San Rafael and Barangay San Isidro and the 7 tribes of the Antipolo IP communities in Barangay Calawis and Barangay San Jose and was made possible with the coordination and help of local government units.
“Salamat po sa walang sawang pagtulong at pagsuporta ng kumpanya sa aming mga katutubo. Merry Christmas po sa inyo,” Chieftain Sunshine Cruz of Anipa very gratefully said of the distribution.
Kap Penny Policarpio of Brgy Pintong Bukawe told the WawaJVCo employees that “The Barangay Council and staff of Barangay Pintong Bukawe were extremely touched to receive support and food packs from Wawa JVCO during the gift giving and year end celebration. We really appreciate your kindness and generosity.”
